The death occurred on Sunday 6th January of Brigid Farrell, (nee Ghee), Clonfuigh Killashee. Brigid had suffered poor health for quite a while but passed away suddenly in the end. Brigid and her husband Michael spent some years in England before returning to her native Killashee where they raised their family. Brigid was a very outgoing and friendly lady who enjoyed nothing better than a music session in the company of her friends. Brigids funeral Mass took place in St. Patrick’s Church, Killashee with burial in Killashee cemetery. Brigid will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, most especially her husband Michael, daughter Teresa, sons Sean and Francis and brother John Joe, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and relatives to whom we offer our deepest sympathy. May her Soul Rest in Peace.
