THANKS:The Irish Kidney Association wish to thank everyone who contributed to their Church gate collection which was held in Clooone on Sunday last. Amount collected was 328.89 euro.

FAS AUGHAVAS: A new scheme has been approved and will commence in mid October. The scheme is sponsored by Aughavas parish improvements scheme ltd. Full details are available on the Fas Website. COOKERY DEMO:Neven Maguire Cookery Demonstration in Kilronan Castle on 19th Sept in aid of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. Tickets on sale in local shops and in Mulveys Carrick on Shannon and Kilronan Castle (071 9618000).Local craft and food producers will also display and have their produce for sale from 7pm. A great night with Neven in luxurious surroundings is expected and for a very good cause. Please support.

OIL PAINTING: Oil painting classes with Martin Fullen will begin in Cloone Community Centre on Wednesday 12th September at 11am sharp. Booking is essential as places are limited.Bookings and further details available from Anne Guilfoyle at 087 2209184.
