CEMETERY SUNDAY: Kilglass Cemetery Mass will be held in the cemetery on Sunday, August 7 at 11am. Scramogue Cemetery Mass will be held in the cemetery on July 31 at 11.30am.

FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE: Lorna Doorley participates in the Bogtrotters half marathon on July 23 next and is fundraising for the Jack and Jill foundation. BOGTROTTERS: The Bogtrotters Marathon, takes place in Strokestown on Saturday, July 23 2011. This is a full, half and relay marathon from Strokestown Park to Rooskey and back. ROOSKEY SPRAOI: Festival takes place on Sunday, July 24 at the new community centre Rooskey from 1-6pm. Fun, games and stalls, music all day, barbeque all day. Irish dancing and a Tug-o-War demonstration by World champions will take place at 4pm on the day. Guaranteed fund day out for all the family. Admission optional.
