Computer Courses

The Longford VTOS programme is now recruiting. It offers full time business and computer training free of charge. To qualify you must be over 21 and in receipt of a social welfare payment. If you are interested contact Maeve Madden, VTOS Co-ordinator at 087 2050589.

Dring Festival

The annual Open Air Festival at Dring due to be held on Sunday 31st May has been postponed for this year. The church gate collection for St. Christopher ‘ s will be held that weekend at both churches. The committee would like to thank all the loyal supporters and look forward to next year’s festival

Poker Classic

On Sunday May 31st next a poker classic will be held in the Breffni Arms Hotel in Arva starting at 6pm. This Classic is organised by friends of the late Martin Cadden and all proceeds go to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund. All support will e greatly appreciated

Brian Buru Club

The Brian Buru fun weekend will be held on the weekend of 14th 15th and 16th of August. There will be loads of events for all ages from bingo to treasure hunt rowing challenge and many more events. More information will be published later. So keep the date in mind. It promise to be a real fun week for all

Next meeting this Wednesday night 27th in Murtagh’s at 10pm.

Class reunion

Moyne CS class reunion 1990-1995 will be held in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva on Saturday, 13th June at 9pm. Admission €10. There will be light refreshments served and music on the night by local DJ Black Steel. We would like to display photographs and other memorabilia from our school days, so please send us on anything you might have or bring them along on the night.
