Closure of Community Welfare Service Clinic
Clinic held at Rooskey Community Centre on Wednesdays at 2.30pm will be discontinued from 30 March 2015. You can access the Community Welfare Service at Dromod on Thursdays 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Please contact the Community Welfare Service on 087 4194462 if you are unable to travel to Dromod Health Centre. Eddie Bourke Community Welfare Officer will still hold clinics in Strokestown Health Centre on Tuesdays 10 - 1pm and in Elphin Health Centre on Wednesdays 10am - 12 noon.

Kilglass Players Present
Three one act plays, Wedding night blues, Up the garden path and Mary Mary performed by local drama groups in Kilglass Gaels GAA Centre on Friday, 20th March. Curtain up at 8pm. Doors open at 7.30pm. Active Retirement Association

Closure of Community Welfare Service Clinic
The Community Welfare office is to cease operating in the Roosky Centre in the very near future. To try and retain this important service in our community a petition book will be open in the Rooskey Centre from Monday 16th March from 10 - 2pm for one week. Your input is very important and the first step in the fight to stop yet another service being removed from our village.
Topaz Cash for Clubs.
Topaz have announced a new initiative for clubs and communities. When you purchase €40 or more on Petrol or Diesel ask to have a loyalty card stamped and get a receipt. These cards and stamps are available in all Topaz stores nationwide. Once your card is full you can return it with receipts to any club official. The cards will be returned to Topaz. Closing date May 10th. Prizes as follows: 1 club will win €10,000. 10 clubs win €5000, 140 clubs win € 1000. Every other club entered will receive €250. We would ask everyone in the community to try and get involved and also ask your friends and family around the country to get involved. A meeting in relation to Topaz stamp collection will take place in clubrooms on Wednesday 18 March at 10pm. We would appreciate a large turnout of players, members and supporters.

Fr Kevin’s CD launch

25 Card Drive
Roscommon Mayo Hospice Rooskey branch 25 Card Drive taking place on 13 April at 8.30pm at the Community Centre, Rooskey. 1st prize €125, 2nd prize €50, 3rd prize €25. Tickets cost €5. Even if you don’t play someone will play for you.
FETAC Level 4 Computer Course will start soon at Community Centre, Rooskey. Modules include Word Processing, Excel, Desktop Publishing, Web Design, Communications and Work Experience.
