Higher Options

The Leaving Cert students would like to thank Ms Flanagan, Ms Durkan and Mr Dawson for accompanying them to the Higher Options on Wednesday last. The students gained valuable information on options available to them for next year.

Football and Basketball

Trials for the various teams have been taking place over the past few weeks. Looking particularly impressive are the current first years. We wish all teams the best of luck for the coming year. Hopefully they can match the All-Ireland success tasted by Ms Kearney’s and Mr Carroll’s teams last year.

Transition Year

The TY students are currently busy auditioning for the school show. They also participated in a dance workshop on Friday last. More details to follow. The students, under the guidance of Damien Sheridan, have started their programme to obtain a GAA coaching qualification. Best of luck to all students involved. Finally, as part of their PE programme the TYs get to sample many new activities. This week Ms Kearney took them to the Pitch and Putt course. A great morning was had by all. Next week Ms McElvaney has organised a rugby coach to take a session with the Transition Years.
