Moydow January 14




St Mel's N.S. P.A. Play, Hosanna Rock!! and The Peace Child will be presented on Saturday, 15th January in Ardagh Community Centre from 5:30pm. All are welcome to this long awaited performance. Tickets are 5 euro for adults, children are free. Let's keep the Christmas spirit on for another week in Ardagh!! Rehearsals: Hosanna Rock 4:30 - 5:15 Thursday. The Peace Child, 4:30-6 Tuesday, 5:15-6:30 Thursday. Photos from the show will be in next week's Longford Leader!


Will recommence on Thursday 21st January at 6:15pm. This year is a very important year for the Irish Girl Guides - celebrating their Centenary with lots of exciting events to look forward to, all over the country for the coming year. We are hoping that a Ladybirds group - girls 5-7 years - will be up and running by the end of January, so watch this space!

Glee Club (sing, dance, act). Due to popular demand the second term of Glee Club starts Saturday 22nd January 2011 9am-10.30am in Dean Egan Library, Ballymahon or 1.30pm-3pm in Edgeworthstown old school. All new comers aged 4-12 are welcome. Call Lisa on 087 761 9605 for info and booking. Limited places so book ASAP to guarantee your child's place.


ICA Meeting on Wednesday 19th January in Moydow Community Centre at 8pm. Demo by Sheila McGarry doing 2011 calenders on the night.


The Maureen Farrell school of Irish Dancing will resume in Ardagh Community Centre on Tuesday 11th January at 4pm for beginners. Beginners also welcome at 5pm. Irish Dancing classes will recommence in St Dominicks Community Centre in Kenagh on Monday 17th January at 4pm, 1st session, 5.15pm 2nd session. Beginners welcome at both sessions.
