Attendance numbers at Longford Bridge Centre on the rise

Bridge

The number of people attending Longford's Bridge Centre is continuing to increase

The resumption of face to face bridge at the centre went really well, with attendances at the clubs averaging just over 50% of the usual normal numbers.

Bridge had continued, on line, for many members during the two years closed down. This was achieved under the management of our chairman John Nugent, and through the skill and efficiency of James Connolly, assisted by his wife Catherine and Pauric McKenna. This column joins in the tributes and appreciation, which have been widely expressed to all four.

Your columnist's contact number is 086 0666 913. The centre's email address is bridgelongford@gmail.com. Members, who may have changed their email addresses, or who are of the view that their correct address may not be on record, may indicate their address by way of email, please.
