Longford Pipe Band and ONE members prior to St Patrick's Day Parade in 2016
Members of the Peter Keenan Branch of O.N.E. held a committee meeting in the Vintage Club at Sean Connolly Barracks last Friday.
Invitations to the Branch from various organisations were discussed and plans finalised.
Our next big event will be a welcome return to the St Patrick’s Day parade in Longford town after a two-year break, due to the Covid Pandemic.
We discussed plans to celebrate what would have been the 50th anniversary of the 4th Cavalry Squadron in Longford, this event will take place in either July or August.
New members are always very welcome to join the branch. Our thanks to the Vintage Club members who have been so generous to us over the last few years, it is very much appreciated.

The close knit south Longford communities of Legan and Carrickedmond came to a silent standstill last Saturday afternoon as highly respected local farmer Kevin Skelly was laid to rest.
