Many of Longford's secondary roads are impassable this morning
Motorists are being warned to not make any unnecessary journeys this morning after heavy snowfall has left many secondary roads impassable.

Several inches of snow fell throughout Longford and surrounding counties overnight making driving conditions dangerous.
There are also reports of some school closures.
