Granard Municipal District Meeting: Remedy to Granard parking concerns on the horizon?

It's hoped a breakthrough could be in the offing to open up additional car parking facilities in Granard town.

Longford County Council and the Office of Public Works (OPW) are in talks to try and free up parking space at the rear of Granard Garda Station.


“It would greatly reduce the pressure on parking at that end of the town,” said Cllr PJ Reilly, who said he has raised the issue directly with OPW Minister Kevin 'Boxer' Moran.
