Officers elected at the annual general meeting of the Peter Keenan Branch Organisation of National Ex Service Personnel.
The annual general meeting of the Peter Keenan Branch Organisation of National Ex Service Personnel was held in Peter Clarke’s Bar on Friday, January 26.
The committee elected were as follows: Chair Vincent Casey, Secretary Eddie Rhatigan, Treasurer, John Grogan, PRO Hugh Farrell, Vice Chair, Tommy Watson, Assistant Secretary Pat McGann.
Vincent Casey, on behalf of the branch, offered warmest congratulations to one of our longest serving members Michael Tighe who received his well deserved Jadotville medal in December.
Our first event of the year will be the annual Clonfin Commemoration on Sunday, February 4; those taking part are asked to be at Clonfin at 2.30pm.
New members are always welcome to join our local branch.
If you are ex 17th Battalion, 4th Cavalry Squadron or any other unit why not join with old comrades and friends to renew friendships forged in difficult times. Your membership will be very welcome and highly valued.
