Following on from his hilarious performance as Gerald in ‘Me and My Girl’ in 2025, Oisín O’Reilly returns to the stage as the Scarecrow for this year’s show ‘The Wizard of Oz’, from 7-11 April.

A graduate of Drama and Theatre at Masters level, he has done it all from pantomimes to musicals, including ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, ‘The Addams Family’, and ‘9 to 5’ with St Mel’s.

‘I have always had a love for the Wizard of Oz, remembering the film as a child. To be playing the Scarecrow is a dream come true and to be back on stage with the cast and crew of St Mel’s is an absolute joy.

‘I’m looking forward to heading down the Yellow Brick Road with all my cast members and to deliver a fantastic production.”
