Peggy had that inimitable north Longford spirit and she was very proud of her Ballinamuck heritage. She was of old stock and old ways and she had an incredible drive to achieve and move forward when others would call stop.
Peggy loved the land, animals and farming was a driving passion for her and she also loved cooking and baking. Never one to be behind anything, she led from the front such was her personality. She had a great way with people and she really loved to stop and chat. She was an encouraging lady and she was always encouraging others to achieve to their fullest potential.
Peggy had a great pride of place and community whether it was our community here or her old Ballinamuck community and her county of Longford. She loved to have her family around her whether it was immediate or extended and she welcomed everyone with open arms and her broad beaming smile.
