Book of evidence to be served on Longford man accused of dangerous driving

The case was up for mention at a recent sitting of Longford District Court

A 24 year old man accused of dangerous driving causing serious bodily injury, will be served with the book of evidence next month.

Deividas Baigys, with an address of 48 Forthill, Aughnacliffe, Longford, was represented at a recent sitting of Longford District Court by solicitor John Anderson.

Mr Anderson told the court his client was “working in retail but on low income.”

Addressing the court, Sergeant for the State Mark Mahon explained there were “some road traffic matters to add on.”

As such, Judge Bernadette Owens elected to remand Mr Baigys on continuing bail until January 20 on which date the book of evidence is expected to be served.
