Lanesboro Community College student Ronan Lyons who was the overall winner of Boston Scientific Medical Devices Grand Award
Lanesboro Community College student Ronan Lyons won the Best Project award and was overall winner of the Boston Scientific Medical Devices Grand Award at the Sci-fest National finals which were held at Marino Institute of Education.
Ronan's project, Compliance Aid Promoting Independent Living Long-term, involved designing a medicine dispenser for people with reduced hand mobility.

The device and supporting app help people with conditions such as arthritis and rheumatism to take their medication safely and easily.
Lanesboro CC Principal Hazel Hannon said, "We are so proud of Ronan and his achievements. He is a wonderful ambassador for the school."
