Congratulations: Longford GAA duo graduate with degrees in computer science from DCU

Longford GAA senior players Bryan Masterson (Abbeylara GAA) and Fionn Hourican (Dromard GAA)

Longford GAA senior players Bryan Masterson (Abbeylara GAA) and Fionn Hourican (Dromard GAA) graduated from DCU with a BSc in Computer Science.

Byran and Fionn were some of the first students in Longford to take part of the Ericsson Athlone InFuse programme for Secondary Schools and Longford Council STEM programme.

Through the Ericsson Athlone "Investing in future Software Engineers" programme, it created the enthusiasm around problem solving, by using software engineering.

Bryan is continuing his studies in DCU and Fionn has started a full time role with Ericsson.
