Killoe's Ryan Moffett and Legan's Hayley Doherty announce their big news
The celebrations continue for Killoe footballer Ryan Moffett and Legan's Hayley Doherty.
Hot on the heels of Ryan's club, Emmet Óg Killoe, winning the Longford Senior Football Championship for the 15th time earlier this month, and just a fortnight after moving into their first house together, the happy couple today announced their engagement!
Hayley posted the exciting news to her Instagram, revealing how Ryan had initially surprised her with a trip to the luxury Limerick hotel, Adare Manor.
The talent manager wrote on her Instagram Stories, "On Friday morning, Ryan brought me on a surprise night away (he told me to pack a bag, that we were going off for his birthday) to the beautiful Adare Manor - which ended in he biggest surprise of all..."
Posting a photo of the beautiful diamond ring, Hayley captioned it, "YES!!! The best day & moment of my life! Here’s to forever with you … 24/10/25"
The couple - who have been together 6 years - have been inundated with good wishes on Instagram.
