A 32 year old Longford man who allegedly assaulted and threatened another man at an astro soccer pitch in Ballymahon last year has been served with the book of evidence.

Represented in court by solicitor Diarmuid Quinn, Mr Nevin will now go forward for trial at the Longford Circuit Court on October 28.

A recent sitting of Longford District Court heard that the accused had 3 charges against him arising from the incident in question, which occurred on September 19, 2024.
