It is part of Our Rural Future strategy to support many organisations nationwide

118 projects in County Longford have been approved for funding under the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2025.


The scheme, part of the Government’s Our Rural Future strategy, will support nearly 4,500 community organisations nationwide, with over 5,400 projects funded across the country.

“These are small but powerful grants that directly support the community centres, local groups, and voluntary organisations that keep our rural towns and villages vibrant,” said Longford / Westmeath Fine Gael Deputy Micheál Carrigy.

He added “I’m delighted to see Longford groups so strongly represented in LEP 2025 with 118 successful projects.”
