There will be an open meeting for anyone interested in getting involved or learning more on Tuesday, May 27
Longford’s first ever Pride parade landed with a bang last year, and it was such a huge hit that this year Longford Pride will be expanding into a jam packed week-long festival running from June 2 to 8.
This Summer also marks the 10 year anniversary of the momentous Marriage Equality Referendum, so it already promises to be a very special celebration indeed, but with an Art Exhibition, Poetry Reading, Craft Market, Colour Run, Movie Screening and much more - not to mention the Parade itself - there will be plenty to see and do for everyone.

Longford Pride are currently seeking volunteers to take part in the preparation, running and clear up for the festival, and would love to hear from anyone who can lend a hand, big or small. Every little helps and everybody’s welcome, so if you’d like to join a great group of enthusiastic volunteers to help Longford celebrate its true colours this Summer, now is your chance.
There will be an open meeting for anyone interested in getting involved or learning more on Tuesday, May 27, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm in Longford Library, and you can get in touch any time at info@longfordpride.com if you’d like to chip in, or just make contact.
