BREAKING: Five men arrested in Longford in connection with violent disorder incident

Gardaí assisted by the Armed Response Unit entered a property in Edgeworthstown and arrested the five men

Gardaí in Co. Longford arrested five men this morning, Tuesday, May, 13 in connection with an investigation into a violent disorder incident in the town on May 6.

In that incident on New Street and Ballymahon Street, Longford town a number of weapons were produced and a number of vehicles damaged.

This morning, in Edgeworthstown, Co Longford, Gardaí assisted by the Armed Response Unit entered a property and arrested five men (one in his late teens, two aged in their 20s, one in his 30s and one in his 40s).

They have all been charged to appear before Longford District Court today, May 13.
