Longford Gardaí investigating two burglaries and man arrested following public order incident
Gardai are investigating a burglary that occurred between 7pm on Sunday, May 11 and 8am on Monday morning, May 12 at Claras, Newtowncashel.
Gardaí are also investigating a burglary which occurred in Longford town in the early hours of Thursday, May 8. Investigations are ongoing.
Separately, Gardaí are investigating following a report of damage to a car in Longford town in the early hours of Thursday, May 8.
Robbery of cash
Gardaí received a report of the robbery of cash from a man in the Harbour Point area of Longford at approximately 1:20am on Wednesday, May 7. No injuries were reported. Investigation ongoing.

Public order incident
Meanwhile, Gardaí received a report of a public order incident on Dublin Road, Longford, at approximately 12:45am on Sunday, May 4.
A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested and subsequently charged to appear before Longford District Court at a future date.
