Parents launch huge fundraising appeal to help refresh interior of Longford primary school

Parents Association of Lanesboro Primary School have organised big fundraising raffle

For all locals of my generation and many other generations of boys and girls we have all been a part of Lanesboro Primary (Lanesboro Girls National School) and the school always brings back happy memories for us all.

For many males reading this we will remember doing junior and senior infants there before moving to the Boys school on the Green.

The Parents Association of the school is now seeking support from the huge numbers that have gone through and are still going through the school.

A lack of Government school funding sees an urgent appeal from the Parents Association of Lanesboro Primary School for support in their efforts to raise funding for the repainting of classrooms, make repairs, refresh the interior of the school along with other school future projects.

The Parents Association is appealing to everyone that has or had a connection to the school over the years to offer their support by taking part in the school draw that will take place on Sunday, June 15.
