Clear rounds: Longford students sparkle at leading showjumping event in Mullingar

Well done to the students of Mercy Ballymahon who took part in the Interschools Showjumping event in Mullingar Equestrian Centre on Sunday, March 23. 

Mercy Ballymahon had teams in both the novice and open categories, and also individual riders in the 80cm, 90cm, 1 metre and 1m10 categories.

Congratulations to the Mercy Ballymahon Open Team consisting of Calum Duignan, Emily Hall, Neasa Donohue and Ella Duignan on placing 1st in their competition, having all received clear rounds and having the fastest time in the jump off.

Congratulations also to Calum who came 1st in the 1m10 individuals and 2nd in the 1 metre individuals.

A brilliant day out for all involved, great to see so many Mercy Ballymahon students taking part. Thank you to the Chef d’Equipe Mr Mulvihill and to Ms Kirby for their help and support on the day.
