Knights of Conquests taking part in last years Ballinamuck St Patrick's Day Parade
The third Ballinamuck St Patrick’s parade is taking place on Sunday, March 16 at 4pm.
It is one of five local parades taking place on St Patrick’s Eve as there are also parades in Arva, Ballymahon, Ballinagh and Longford town that day.
The Lanesboro / Ballyleague parade takes place on Monday, March 17, starting from 2.30pm and organisers were thrilled when they were informed that RTÉ will be on hand to capture the floats and atmosphere.
The Ballinamuck parade organising committee, under the chairpersonship of Dessie Connell, are advising all vehicles and floats taking part to gather at Bandra (N39 V2VO) no later than 3.15pm. All walking groups should meet in the ‘98 Memorial Hall (N39 Y7C1) no later than 3.15pm.

Mr Connell stressed, “We are asking everyone attending our parade to arrive early as there will be road closures in place as per last year. Shuttle buses will be running from Gaigue Cross to the village and from the ‘98 Bar to the village. There will be live entertainment on the street following the parade.”
Local residents along the route are being encouraged to get their flags and bunting up, and for further updates keep an eye on the Ballinamuck St Patrick's Day Parade Facebook page.

Arva Area Development Association will hold their 2025 St Patrick's Parade on Sunday starting at 3pm.
As usual, this year's parade will be focused around the Market Square and all floats will be welcome – business, schools, sports clubs, advertising an event or just for the craic. There is €2,000 in prize money.
Get the floats ready, open to every group. Entertainment in the local pubs straight after the parade until late. It promises to be a great weekend.
Ballinagh
Join us this year in Ballinagh for the St Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 16 at 4.30pm.
Organisers say, “Let's make this year a memorable one. Wear green, fancy dress or take part in the Parade, or just enjoy the festivities. We look forward to seeing you all there!”
