Operation Enable: Longford Gardaí highlight 'classic example' of illegal parking in disabled designated space

Following a number of cases heard in the local district court, Longford Gardaí have this week highlighted another 'classic example' of illegal parking in a disabled designated space.

On their Facebook page, Longford Gardaí posted a photo showing a car parked in a designated parking bay in Longford.

"This is a classic example of denying a Disabled Permit Holder the opportunity to park in a designated parking bay in Longford. This effort cost this motorist €150."

The Gardaí cautioned, "Remember these spaces are few and are required by those who most need them."
