Lego Challenge: Longford students capture prize for best robot design and innovation

The St Mel's College, Longford Lego Robotics team won 1st place for best Robot design and Innovation at the Lego First League Challenge

A huge well done to the St Mel's College, Longford Lego Robotics team who competed for the very first time in The Lego First League Challenge at Medtronic in Galway last week.

Out of 14 teams competing, the boys won 1st prize for best robot design and innovation.

They were unfortunate to lose out on the overall prize on the day, which would have seen them progress to the All Ireland final.

However, everyone at St Mel's College is very proud of the boys, and they should be very proud of their efforts over the last number of weeks.
