The Lyons Bar fundraiser in aid of Longford Hospice Home Care and the Irish Cancer Society’s support services has officially closed, with a remarkable total of €17,520 raised in memory of the beloved Mary Lyons (pictured inset).
The funds, gathered through generous donations and a memorable musical event held on September 14, 2024, in Lyons Bar were distributed between Longford Hospice Homecare and the Irish Cancer Society's support services, each receiving €8,760.

The main musical event featured a lineup of talented local musicians who generously donated their time and talents to create an unforgettable evening of entertainment and remembrance.
They said they really appreciate everyone who took part to make it such an unforgettable and memorable event.

The family of the late Mary Lyons have expressed massive thanks to everyone who gathered to honour the memory of their lovely mum and to all who gave contributions to our fundraiser.
