The extent of the storm damage at Fitzgerald Park in Kilmallock this Friday morning

A SECTION of the stand in one of the busiest GAA fields in the county has been torn to smithereens by the power of Storm  Éowyn.

Parts of the roof in Fitzgerald Park, Kilmallock in Limerick appear to have been blown into the rear of local properties. 

It is not known if the flying wreckage from one of the main GAA county grounds has damaged the buildings. Fitzgerald Park has hosted inter county action all the way up to senior.
