Deputy Carrigy has said a preferred bidder has now been appointed for the project
Deputy Micheál Carrigy has welcomed progress on the development of the new Primary Care Centre in Edgeworthstown, following significant step forward in relation to the project.
“I am pleased to confirm that, following an advertised tender competition, a preferred bidder has now been appointed for the development of the new Primary Care Centre in Edgeworthstown,” he added.

The project is currently in the design phase, with the HSE aiming to lodge a planning application early in the second quarter of 2025.
“This is a vital project for Edgeworthstown and the surrounding areas, ensuring improved access to essential healthcare services in a state-of-the-art facility," Deputy Carrigy said. "I will continue to work closely with Cllr. Paul Ross and the HSE Capital and Estates team to ensure this project progresses as quickly as possible."
