Just Married
The marriage took place at St Mary’s Church, Lanesboro on Friday, December 20 of Catriona Dowd, daughter of David and Sharon Dowd, Thureen and Mark Gilroy son of Geraldine and J.P. Gilroy, Bohey, Drumlish, Co Longford.
Best woman was Aishling Tiernan, sister of the groom and bridesmaids were Lynda Kilcoyne, aunt of the bride, Jane Dowd, cousin of the bride and Sharon Rooney, friend of the bride.
Man of honour was Luke Dowd, brother of the bride, and groomsmen were Paul Gilroy, brother of the groom, Thomas Gilroy, brother of the groom and Hugh Mulhaire, friend of the groom. The page boys were Sonny and Miles Tiernan, both nephews of the groom.

The marriage ceremony was con-celebrated by Fr Turlough Baxter and Fr John Quinn, Gortletteragh. The wedding reception took place in the Athlone Springs Hotel.
