Longford community thanks retiring principal for seven wonderful years

Patricia Boyce

The community of Fermoyle National School bid a fond farewell to their Principal Patricia Boyce on Friday, October 25.

Mass was held in the school to celebrate seven wonderful years.

Under Patricia’s guidance, Fermoyle NS has continued to thrive physically and socially through so many valuable and meaningful initiatives and learning experiences. Most notably, the creation of a playground facility at the school.

Patricia also nurtured the children’s creativity through the Creative Schools Programme and the introduction of a Fermoyle Christmas Concert.

This concert has not only benefitted the children hugely but has been enjoyed by the wider community over the past seven years.

The staff at Fermoyle NS and the wider community would like to thank Patricia for everything she has contributed to school life and the lives of the children.
