Wonderful achievement: Presentation to Longford blood donors who have made 100 and 50 donations

Two Lanesboro / Ballyleague men were recently presented with awards by the Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) in Claremorris.
JoeMullooly, Killinure was presented with the pelican which is the symbol of the IBTS and is presented to those that have donated blood for the 100th time.
Gerry Trimble, Cloonadra, was awarded a gold pin for donating blood for the 50th time.
We would like to congratulate the two men for their wonderful achievements.
The IBTS will be in the Longford Arms on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, November 26, 27 & 28 and will be in the Dr Hyde Centre, Roscommon Town on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, December 17, 18 & 19.
There is a constant huge demand for blood and if you gave blood before and have not for a while or whether you want to donate for the first time please go along to the opportunity that the IBTS offers.
