Uisce Eireann is reporting a water disruption in the Lanesborough area this Saturday.
The utility company and Longford County Council have informed the public that a planned power outage may cause supply disruptions to the water supply in Lanesborough and surrounding areas in County Longford.
The disruption in service is due to works scheduled to take place from 9:00am until 6:30pm on 12 October.
In the statement Uisce Eireann say: “We recommend that you allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.”
The public are advised that there will also be traffic issues as a result of the works.
