The recent death has occurred peacefully in the care of the staff at Kilbarry Care Centre, Waterford, surrounded by his
loving family on Monday, August 26, 2024 of Thomas McGarry, Ballygeeher, Bornacoola, Carrick on Shannon, Leitrim.


Loving husband to Angela and devoted father to Martina, Joan, Danny, Damian and Ronan. Father in law of Michael, Sheana, Amelija and Caroline.

Grandad of Clodagh, Caroline, John, Ciarán, Daragh, Killian, Iman, Darian, Miriam, Rachel, Lauren, John and Edel. Deeply regretted by his brother Michael (Washington D.C.), sisters Rita Geoghegan (Carlow),and Sheila Kundid (Chicago); sister in law Irene McGarry (Washington D.C.), Chris Murray (Drumsna), nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his son Ronan, parents William and Catherine, sisters Mary, Anne, Elizabeth, Bridget and
Eileen.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his daughter’s residence at Carrigrue, Butlerstown Waterford City (X91 E6AH) on Tuesday, August 27 from 5.00 to 8 pm. Prayers at 7.00pm. House private after 8pm. Removal from Waterford to St. Michael’s Parish Church, Bornacoola, Co. Leitrim on Wednesday, August 28 for requiem Mass at 2pm. Funeral Mass will be streamed live online followed by burial in
Clonmorris Cemetery, Bornacoola, Co. Leitrim.


Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Irish Association for Palliative Care.
