Investigations ongoing following three Longford burglaries inside twenty-four hours

Garda investigations are ongoing following three burglaries inside twenty-four hours in the south of county Longford. 

Two commercial premises on Main Street in Lanesboro were targeted by burglars in the early hours of Tuesday, August 20. 

In both incidents at - The Village Inn and Tasty Kebab & Pizza - takeaways a quantity of cash was reported as stolen while there was also damage to the premises.

While on Tuesday afternoon, August 20,  gardaí are investigating a burglary at a private residence in Abbeyshrule where a quantity of cash and a number of items were reported as stolen.

No arrests have been made as of yet and investigations are ongoing.
