Hubert Barry Drumnawall, Arva, Co Cavan

The recent death has occurred peacefully in his home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 of Hubert Barry, Drumnawall, Arva, Co. Cavan.

Beloved husband of Patricia and dear father of Tonya, Elaine, Rachel, David and Brian. Sadly missed by his brother Fergus, sister in law Noreen, nieces and nephews, sons in law and daughters in law, grandchildren, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Hubert will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home (H12RF78) on Saturday, August 24 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Sunday, August 25 at 12pm in Sacred Heart Church, Drumalt, Arva (H12RY96) followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. House private at all times.

Josie McWeeney Hartley, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim

The recent death has occurred peacefully in his 89th year on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 of Josie McWeeney Hartley, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. Pre-deceased by his parents Anne Marie and Hugh, brother Hugh and his recently deceased sister Marie.

Josie will be fondly remembered by his loving family, sisters Margaret O’Reilly (Drumlish) and Bernie O’Dowd (Carrick-on-Shannon), brothers John (Tuam) and Paul (London), brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Josie will repose at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62) on Friday, August 23 from 3:30 o’ clock until 5:30 o’ clock.

Followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon arriving at 6:30 o’ clock. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 24 at 12 o’clock, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrick-on-Shannon.

Josie's Funeral Mass will be streamed live.

Family Flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the North West Hospice.

Martin Foley No 8 Templemichael Terrace, Longford Town, Co Longford / Dublin

The recent death has occurred peacefully in the wonderful care of his family and the staff of St Joseph's Hospital, Dublin Rd, Longford on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 of Martin Foley, No 8 Templemichael Terrace, Longford town, (retired Defence Forces) formerly of Ballyfermot, Dublin.

Predeceased by his parents Joe and Margaret and sister Joan. Martin will be forever missed and always remembered by his loving family, son Joe, daughter Sharon and her partner Mark and their mother Ann, his beloved grandchildren Danielle, Alanna, Stanley, Joe and Molly, great-grandchild Jaimee Leigh, Martin's fiancée Sharon and her children Sophie and Shauna (his special friends), brothers Joe, David and Daniel, sisters Annette, Christine and Susan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and his many great friends.

Always in our thoughts, Forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace Martin.

Reposed in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, N39 KN66 on Thursday, August 22 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Friday, August 23 from his daughters's home (14 Oakvale, Longford) to arrive to St. Mel's Cathedral, for Funeral Mass at 1pm.

Following Mass, Martin will be laid to rest in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Longford Hospice c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member. Condolences can be left in the link on rip.ie.

James Peter Hopkins Kenagh, Co Longford

The recent death has occurred peacefully aged 91, with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 of James Peter (PJ) Hopkins of Hale, Cheshire, England and formerly Lislea, Kenagh, Co. Longford.

He is pre-deceased by his parents and brother Paddy. PJ will be sadly missed and remembered with much love and affection by his wife Margaret, daughters Sandra, Celine and Loretta and sons-in-law, Jason, David H and David F, his grandchildren, Imogen, Tristan, Mauringh, Harry, Ruby and Alfred, sisters Philomena, Nellie, Bernadette, Celia and Kathleen his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends both in Ireland, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt and the US.

May he rest in peace.

PJ's Funeral Mass will take place in The Holy Angels Church, in Hale Barns, Altrincham on Monday, September 9 at 10:30am followed by cremation at Dunham Massey Crematorium.

Michael (Mike) Reilly Annaduff Glebe, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim

The recent death has occurred peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and in the devoted care of his nephew Paul on Friday, August 23, 2024 of Michael (Mike) Reilly, Annaduff Glebe, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Ann, parents Michael and Alice, brothers Peter, Joe and Pat. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving brother Jim (Lanesborough), sisters-in-law Mary and Josie, his devoted nephew and carer Paul, Donal, Damien, Fergus and Michael, nieces Marina, Bernie, Alison, Ann, Carmel and Miriam, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and

friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Mike will repose at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62) on Sunday evening, August 25 from 4pm until 6pm followed by removal on Monday morning, August 26 to St. Mary’s Church, Annaduff arriving for Mass of Christian burial at 11am followed by burial in Annaduff Cemetery.
