The recent death has occurred on Saturday, July 20, 2024 of Kathleen (Meg) McGettrick, New York City, U.S.A. And
Co Longford.
She lived almost her entire life in New York City but wanted her remains interred next to her mother’s grave in
Carra, Granard, Co. Longford. Kathleen was a very intelligent and witty individual and an Honors Graduate of Fordham University. During her career at Brooks Brothers Clothiers she travelled extensively to various locations
including China and Japan.
Her mother Kathleen (née Sheridan), who hailed from Aughnagarron, Granard,was a nurse and her father, John was a New York City fireman.
She will be missed by her cousins in Longford and New York and by her friends. May She Rest In Peace.
Kathhleen's Funeral Mass will take place in St. Mary's Church, Carra on Wednesday, August 21 at 1pm followed
by interment of ashes in the adjoining cemetery.
Brian McGlynn Tailteann Court, Windtown, Navan, Meath / Rooskey, Roscommon

The recent death has occurred peacefully at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 of Brian McGlynn, Tailteann Court, Windtown, Navan and formerly of Rooskey, Roscommon and Manchester, England.
Brian beloved husband of May. Very sadly missed by his family Tony, Mark, Julie and Caroline. Grandchildren
Cathorina, Melissa, Hannah, Harry and Oliver. Brothers Tommy, Jim and Tony. Sisters Anne and Kitty. Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Fitzsimons Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, August 21 from 5pm to 7pm. Cremation on Thursday, August 22 at 11am in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. (This may be viewed live on Lakelands Crematorium livestream).

The recent death has occurred peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home on
Tuesday, August 20, 2024 of Doreen Murphy, formerly of Richmond Street, Longford town.
Pre-deceased by her parents Thomas and Mary, sisters Eileen, Claire and Celine and by her brothers Noel, Kevin and Tony. Doreen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, sister Vera and her twin sister Una, brother Cecil, daughter Edel grandchildren, Shane, Mandy, Shauna and Tom, great-grandchildren Caiden and Elimay, sister-in-law Pauline, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home Chapel (N39 XE92) on Thursday, August 22 from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of The Resurrection on Friday, August 23 in St. Mel’s Cathedral at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery.
