Longford RFC player Mia Rowan had a busy weekend as she lined out with Leinster in the U18 Girls Interprovincial Championship against Munster at Virgin Media Park in Cork.
The talented young rugby star started in the second row and she is pictured above being tackled by Lily Byrne of Munster.
Mia, who is from Kenagh, is the daughter of James and Morag Rowan.

Speaking to the Leader James said his daughter was delighted to get to play for her province: “She really enjoyed the experience. It was a great opportunity for her.”
Another Longford RFC player, Shane McGuigan, lined out on the male Leinster U18 club teams.
