There were plenty of celebrations at a north Longford ladies football club as no less than four players marked birthday milestones.
It's been a busy period for Dromard ladies both on and off the pitch with two members of the club's promising U-14 team entering their teenage years, while two "stalwarts" also marked big birthdays.
“Two of our U-14 Panel become teenagers this coming week, but before their celebrations can begin there is the little matter of a semi-final match against St. Mary's.

“They will surely agree that a win and a place in the final would make a really nice present. So hopefully a really happy birthday to Shauna Reynolds and Michaela Farrell turning 13yrs from all of us.
“Two more birthdays as well sees Dromard stalwarts Cait Murphy (25yrs) and Lauren Conboy (18yrs) also celebrating.

“They both won their fair share of silverware playing up through the age groups and will be looking for success this year with our Senior panel, and in Lauren's case also the Minor Championship.
“With Cait resident in Dublin and Lauren giving her attention to her Leaving Cert this year, we are all hoping to reignite their fire. We also wish these two a very happy birthday."
Congratulations to all!
