A former Longford ladies football star currently living and working in Australia has announced her engagement.
Laura Bleakley, a former senior player with Longford and her club Dromard, recently got engaged to her partner Killian.

Dromard Ladies GAA were quick to congratulate Laura who they described as an "all round good club woman".

Posting a cute photo of the happy couple to Facebook, Dromard Ladies GAA club said: "Congratulations to our Laura and Killian on their engagement. Now Killian, Laura will organise you as well as she looked after Dromard Ladies both as a player, development officer and executive member, you are in good hands."
