Paul Wyer shaves hair off in fundraiser for Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association of Ireland
On September 20, 2017, local publican Joe Farrell passed away after suffering for a number of years from Motor Neurone Disease.
On Sunday last, June 23 Paul Wyer had a fundraising head shave in the Yacht Bar to raise funds in memory of Joe for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association of Ireland.

Following the head shave Paul was in a position to hand over €2,000 received in sponsorship to Alan Farrell.
