Longford Gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred in Killashee, County Longford.
The motorcycle accident took place on the N63 on Sunday afternoon.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, sustained nonlife threatening injuries and was taken to Tullamore Hospital for treatment.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision or who was travelling on the N63 in the Killashee area at the time to come forward. Those with camera footage, including dashcam footage, are particularly encouraged to provide it to investigating Gardaí.
A statement from the Garda Press Office said Gardaí attended at the collision: “Gardaí attended the scene of a road traffic collision that occurred in Killashee, Longford on Sunday afternoon June 16, 2024 just after midday.
“A car and motorbike collided and the male motorcyclist, aged in his 60s was taken to Tullamore Hospital to be treated for nonlife threatening injuries. Investigations ongoing.”
