Culture Nights 2023 Searching for happiness in Longford exhibit
Longford County Council, through its Arts Service, is encouraging communities and local organisations to express their interest in grant funding for local Culture Night 2024 events.
A celebration of the arts and creativity, this night of cultural activities is marked by events throughout the country. Last year in Longford 18 separate free events took place, including an Afro beats music event and Kenagh Culture Evening. This year, Culture Night is set to take place on Friday, 20 September.
Community organisations and local people can express their interest in grant funding for the delivery of Culture Night 2024 events. Grants may cover costs such as venue rental, publicity, and materials.
Expressions of interest requesting an application form can be emailed to artsoffice@longfordcoco.ie. The deadline for the submission of this application form is Friday, 5 July at 5pm. Longford Arts Service will aim to support your event by promotion through the national Culture Night website, by sharing social media content and through local advertisements.
