Longford trans activist Rebecca Tallon de Havilland when she appeared on the Tommy Tiernan Show will lead the Longford Pride Parade on June 15
This year, Longford will be hosting its first ever LGBTQ+ Pride celebration on Saturday, June 15.
There will be several events taking place in Longford town on the day, with something for everyone.
A craft market will be held in Pig Market Lane from 12pm, running throughout the day.
The Pride parade will start at 4pm from Connolly Barracks - led by grand marshal Rebecca Tallon de Havilland.

This will be followed by a post-parade celebration at Pig Market Lane where attendees will be able to hear speeches and then sample some local talent as the live music kicks off.
An over 18s After Party will be held in the Spiral Tree Whiskey Bar from 8.30pm featuring Drag Acts from the Haus of Kéwn, starting at 9.30pm.
