Abbott Employees Raise Funds for Local Schools

St Joseph’s National School receiving their cheque for €6139.21

Abbott employees at the multinational medical devices and health care company's Longford site presented cheques to four local schools.

Funds raised by the Longford employees reached a total of €24,556.84 to go toward the purchase sensory equipment for the students who have special needs in schools in the region.

The funds will go to: St. Patrick’s National School, Drumshanbo; St Michael’s Special School, Castlerea, St Josephs National School, Longford and St Bridget’s Special School, Mullingar.
