ALERT | Motorists warned of potential delays due to road works in Longford town and Kenagh
Longford motorists are being warned of potential delays over the next two days due to a road closure in Longford town and road works in Kenagh.
The L-7011-0 junction at Ardnacassa Avenue & Palace Crescent, Longford town will be closed on Thursday, December 14 and Friday, December 15 from 08:00am – 18:00pm.
This road closure is required to facilitate the construction of new traffic calming measures at Palace Crescent, Longford.
There will be access to Ardnacassa via Palace Crescent and in the interest of road safety, you are requested to follow diversions and heed all signs.
Meanwhile, a stop and go system will be in operation on the R397-982 & L1129-0 at Kenagh, Co Longford on Thursday and Friday, December 14 & 15 from 18:00pm – 03.30am.
These roadworks are required to facilitate the provision of DBM overlay. Road works will be managed by a manned Stop and Go system in place but delays can be expected.
