There will be small amount of disruption to traffic flow in Longford town next week, commencing on Monday, November 27 as the local authority undertake works on traffic lights.
Longford Municipal District representatives were told the lights at the Post Office will be out of action to allow for repair works.
Senior Executive Engineer, Eamonn Bennett told members: “They have been breaking down so we are going to have emergency works there. It won't affect motorists too badly. There will be signage up, but the lights will be out on and off while work is taking place.”
