Everyone in Gowna GAA club would like to extend our sympathies to the family of Marie Briody, Crossdoney who died in the past week. Marie was a devoted mother to 8 children, including Ciarán and Padraig Briody who both live in Gowna with their families.
We will keep her entire family in our prayers. We would also like to send our sympathies to the family of Martin Keirnan, Gowna Village who died last week.
Martin was a much-loved part of the community and was always available to help out stewarding at matches, parking cars and looking after the community centre etc., He will be sadly missed around the village! Go ndéana Dia a mhaith orthu.
